This Privacy Policy explains how Fluidion (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Fluidion ALERT mobile application (“the App”).
The App is designed for both business (B2B) and individual (B2C) users. It enables users to connect to compatible measurement devices via Bluetooth, retrieve measurement data, and synchronize data with our cloud services.
The App is accessible to users across the EU without discrimination based on nationality or place of residence. Pricing, subscriptions, and core service access are offered under uniform conditions across EU member states, with variations only for VAT and legally required local compliance.

2.1 Information You Provide
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:
Account information (such as email address or user identifier).
Organization, site, or subscription information (for business users).
Communications with customer support or technical assistance.

Geographic coordinates (GPS latitude and longitude) may be collected directly by connected measurement devices.
This location data is transmitted to the App via Bluetooth and synchronized to our backend servers
GPS data is associated with measurement records for operational, analytical, regulatory, or contractual purposes.
The App itself does not generate GPS coordinates.
3. Permissions Used by the App
3.1 Bluetooth
The App uses Bluetooth to:
Discover and connect to compatible devices.
Retrieve measurement data.
Configure and monitor device operation.
Bluetooth access is required for the App’s core functionality.
3.2 Camera
The App may request access to the camera solely for functional purposes, such as:
Scanning QR codes to identify, register, or configure devices
The App does not capture, store, or upload photos or videos unless explicitly required by a feature and clearly indicated to the user.
3.3 Location (Phone)
The App may request access to location services for the following limited purposes:
To determine the device’s local time zone and local time
To comply with Android system requirements related to Bluetooth device discovery
The App:
Does not track real-time user location.
Does not store or transmit phone-based GPS coordinates.
Does not build location history or movement profiles.
